All Aboard!

Given the beautifully sunny and mild weather we have been having in Portland lately, we decided to take Ollie on his first real, open-air train ride!  He was so excited to see the trains and hear the whistle!..Although once we were on the train, we're not quite sure if he realized he was actually ON it.  But he was happy and even did a little happy-train dance for us.

Ollie has figured out how to take photos and videos with my phone (should I be proud, or embarrassed?).  Here are the surprises I found on my phone this morning - with a particular theme!

Day on the Mountain

We made the 1.5 hour journey East of Portland to spend the day at Mt. Hood.  It's where people go when they want snow and sun...and we got exactly that.  The majestic mountain was is covered in beautiful fresh white snow with a clear blue and sunny sky to top it off.  We went with the intention to take Ollie sledding, but we ended up going for a hike in his backpack instead.
