Fall is here

We have been packing it in this fall!  It wouldn't be September in Wisconsin without a trip to the apple orchard.  We picked several bushels and somehow ended up with lots of apple crisp...

Then, we had a very special milestone in our household...

We then flew to Washington DC to join Chris for an annual Surgical conference.  We rented an apartment in a really hip and fun part of the city.  It was exhausting but also incredibly fun to see a new city with the boys!

Another Month...

Saturday morning workshop at Home Depot.  It's a guy thing.

Summertime

We are having a wonderful summer!  Here are some of the most recent highlights:

The blue car has returned to the Dodgion's garage for round 2.  (Notice how he keeps both hands on the wheel at all times)

Ollie's project to stay busy in the kitchen while I make dinner.  He loves spices (just like Daddy!)

Aunt Bec and I took both of our kids to dinner.  We won't be invited back there for a long time.

What would a summer weekend at Mimi and Bop's be without a trip to Bay Beach?  This was Ollie's first summer where he could really enjoy the rides solo.  Needless to say, he's a fan!

Hot Rod

From GB we headed to Eagle River for a few days.  It is a very special place for me, so I was very excited to share it with my 3 boys. It was a wonderful getaway with lots of time on the beach! (We are still finding sand in the house)

We celebrated Daddy's 37th Birthday in our cabin.  Ollie thought he should have a construction cake.

Back home, Finny has become a little scavenger.  "You gonna eat that?"

...and he loves the bumpy slide, just like big brother. 

Vroom Vroom!

There have been lots of trucks and motorcycles in our lives lately.  And at only 9 months, Finny is already beginning to show big interest in big wheels, following right in his Big Brother's footsteps...

We went to Dozer Days in Tosa.  The crowds were huge but we were able to get a few 'action' shots...

And just when Ollie thought things couldn't get any better, the next day we went to the Harley Davidson Museum.  Such a cool space!  And both boys loved it!

Big Things

3 Big things happened in the past 2 days:

Finny turned 9 months old

We had our first outdoor movie pizza night

And Ollie T (and Daddy) went to his first movie in the theater.  Finding Dory - in 3D!!

How do these things work?

He lasted about 30 minutes.  Not too bad!
